Enjoyed this Pod. Did get me thinking … thanks to Ollie (and subsequently Franco), how relevant is the F2 series? As mentioned in the Pod, Kimi’s season in F2 is irrelevant to him getting his F1 seat. Therefore, should the F2 series be tinkered (again) to make it more relevant for F1? Personally I don’t think so. Or do we just see F2 now as a standalone series, and it not just being seen as a vehicle for ‘chasing the dream’?

2024-11-23 00:02:50 +0000 UTCI was thinking the same as Ben - Ollie kind of kicked it all off. Even before Jeddah I'm pretty sure he was already scheduled to do six FP1s this year. And given we now know Toto decided on Kimi almost immediately, both him and Ollie were basically confirmed for next year behind the scenes even way earlier too.
