Liam is a big improvement on Checo, but his ceiling doesn’t seem very high. I can only see him ending up so thoroughly destroyed by Max that it won’t help him secure a long term F1 future.

2024-11-01 08:16:09 +0000 UTCThe Mexico City GP promoters saying the race will be just fine without Perez + TelMex ending RBR sponsorship means shows he’s on the way out. There is no way to justify a driver performing at his level. Even if they don’t care about the WCC (and they do, just 90% less than WDC), he’s too big a distraction.

2024-11-01 08:12:33 +0000 UTCAs much as I love Spa and Suzuka, if F1 were to run every race at the same track, I’d pick Interlagos any day. No track has a similar hit rate for producing great races. And, while the facilities are dirty and worn down, it is full of life, which is so much better than all these new, lifeless and sanitized tracks.
