Surely the Red Bull executives are aware of the evident power struggle and resulting young driver approach turmoil. Neither Horner nor Marko are untouchable shareholders, so what about the corporate structure has allowed this to persist at the expense of modernizing the driver program? Is Red Bull ultimately being a drinks and marketing company driving conservatism in its sporting operations, or does the profitability of brand awareness mean they actually benefit from a bit of controversy coming at a (slight) sporting performance expense?
