I agree there's a lot in this decision, the breakdown of his relationship with Horner after the Horner scandal, red bull in essence backing Horner over Newey, Neweys competitiveness and what happens if an Aston driver is not delivering, and the Aston road car divisions ongoing financial problems and falling car sales affecting the race team (although they are separate entities)

If Lance stroll wasn't the driver at astob, I'd be a bigger fan of that team

I'm sorry but my pessimistic streak can't help but raise the elephant in the room that Lawrence Stroll has employed Newey and said, " make my boy a champion!" Very surprised this topic was never raised in the podcast. Can't bake bread without all the ingredients.
