So as promised on the last episode, we've rounded up some of our favourite questions and points from The Race Members' Club that we haven't yet had time to tackle in the regular series, Matt's put them all into a mug and drawn them at random for Simon and Val to answer as many as we could in an initial bonus episode exclusively for you (with another to come as we ran out of time to get through all the ones we wanted to).
The British Grand Prix's contentious new 2025 date, potential fireworks at Tech3 next year, Miguel Oliveira's attitude, one-shot qualifying and a history lesson from Simon on the Ulster Grand Prix all feature. Turns out MotoGP PRs DO listen to the members' podcast... and did hear Simon answering your question, Angelina! So one quick correction - when we said a current factory team PR person started out as Jorge Lorenzo's rider assistant, he was actually Jorge's personal PR. (- Matt)

Enjoyed listening to the answer a lot and it did explain some things for me. And yeah, obviously the private jet thing is a ridiculous reason. Also just wanted to mention I am loving the fact that I can send you the questions in written form. I know you’ve called for voice message questions before the members club existed, but with not being an English native, recording a voice message always was pretty daunting. This is so much easier.
