We go into today's Austrian Grand Prix with Pecco Bagnaia and Jorge Martin tied in the championship lead and everything wide open.

And as ever, The Race Members' Club on Patreon gets an exclusive chance to have your questions about the weekend's events answered on our post-race podcast with Simon, Val, Megan and Matt.

Just pop your question in a comment on this post and we'll get through as many as we can on the show - which we'll record early evening tonight this time before Simon and Val leave the paddock (so get them in quick post-race!).

What are your thoughts on Enea not having the late race pace as he normally does. Maybe the special Michellin tire for the weekend?

Matthew Nation

One for Simon. Given 7 of the top 10 finishers at the Red Bull Ring were Ducatis do you see any hope that other manufacturers will be challenging next year and beyond? Or are Ducati just too far ahead for the rest to catch up?

Maurice Henry

NO hondas crashed this weekend

Gordon

Thanks everyone, I've grouped these into the episode plan. Conor, Paul, Simon, Hayes, Claudio, Greg and Jasper - you're all in tonight's episode (published tomorrow). IceColdAndy, Mathias, Angelina and Miguel, I'll get your points answered in a MotoGP Extra before Aragon. Cheers for the input as ever, it's always appreciated and really helps us decide what to focus on in the race weekend episodes - Matt

Matt

With the right incentive I think Dorna could persuade them 💰

Maurice Henry

Over the past week Taka Nakagami said he received a very interesting offer from Honda. I'm assuming that this is a test riding role, but is there any chance it could be something else? Maybe an HRC World SBK ride or the Chantra rumors are wrong and Taka will remain in MotoGP next year?

Hayes

What has happened to Pedro Acosta? The kid was absolutely explosive right out of the blocks, pulling some absolutely insane overtakes out of his leathers for fun. But this weekend he was firmly the 4th best KTM. Has something changed with the bike or tyres that are throwing him? Or is he perhaps not as good as I had thought, because he looks nowhere close to that so-called "nailed on race win"

Jasper Pendlebury

After another Dire race performance it really feels like Dorna themselves are trying to save his career. Would Dorna "order" Pramac to take him?

Paul Mcclenaghan

Was Acosta’s foray in to MotoGP beginners luck, rookie enthusiasm or is he taking the tyre conservation strategy too far? Not that he’s doing badly but he’s been very “mid pack” lately compared to the Rookie vs Veteran beginnings.

Greg

I thought the stegosaurus wings were the last straw! 😅

Greg

Really interested in this question from a human resources point of view: how are teams managing riders that won't stay with them? And how can riders be competitive when they are thinking of being elsewhere ? Tks

Miguel Pacheco

Why is it starting to feel like neither Martin nor Pecco wanna win this title with how often they make unforced mistakes?

Angelina

I dropped it in the chat as well, but given it's been very prominent in Austria: Does MotoGP (and adjacent classes) need a one-shot qualifying with one flying lap per rider to prevent trundling on the racing line looking for a tow?

Mathias Kainz

Half a season has passed and Marquez continues to increase is crash count. Do we still believe that next year on the same spec bike as Pecco, a more stable rider, he will be a bigger threat that Martin to Pecco tittle bid?

Claudio Silva

One for all. Given MotoGP’s rules are fixed until 2027, can we expect even more aero developments like that of KTM’s saw styled swingarm flap/wing or will there be minor technical rule changes? While I’m all for and love innovation, is this or another design the straw that finally breaks the camels back?

MrIceColdAndy 23

Given Morbidelli's underwhelming performances the last few seasons how do you feel about him being given a ride for another year just because he's in a 'club'? And further to that, how do you feel about a team being in MotoGP that will choose it's riders based essentially on who they're friends with or nationality rather than outright talent?

Simon Perry

One for Megan. Given how you feel about Jack Miller and thanks for voicing an opinion that I completely agree with, how do you feel about the narrative that he may be being kept in MotoGP as part of a Dorna move rather than talent?
