Another F1 race weekend means another chance for YOU to ask us questions for our post-race podcast.
Submit your question below from the Austrian GP weekend, and we'll answer as many as we can.
Edd will be picking up the questions at 1730 UK time, so make sure your question is in before then!
There seems to be a trend of the Red Bull being much stronger in the first stint than the McLaren, and the reverse being true at the end of the race. What are the possible reasons for this, especially given McLaren’s advantage in the race on lighter tanks doesn’t translate to qualifying? Fuel efficiency? Better lift and coast? Tyre characteristics?

Given Toto’s eagerness to sign max — and his belief in Antonelli being the future of the team — where does Russell fit in the long term plans if Max were to join for 2026?
I’d assume Toto would sack Russell in a heartbeat for Max, but wouldn’t
it be a little premature to stick with an unknown in Antonelli over him?

Don’t know if you will do a mid week Q&A,but is Lando in danger of a grid penalty because he drove back to pits shedding debris most of way and he didn’t technically serve his track limits penalty because he retired the car. (Real name Greg)

Oscar managed to get 2 2nd places this weekend, but still seems to be lacking something. He's always up there in Qualifying (ignoring lap time deletions) but this performance seems to drop off in the race. For his first season, everybody said he needed to learn tyre management, but he still seems to missing something, or is it just that Lando is getting more out of the car? I wouldn't expect to see him compete for a win at the moment.

Long time listener, first time caller - this Patreon is a good step forward, great to be here. Red Bull were keen to avoid going too hard on Lando in post-race comments, (almost the same as their non-commital answers about Checo's performance). Their line was “that’s racing". Is this because they know Max was at fault for the incident deep down, or was it down to their long term interest in Lando? (Or both?!)

What's your opinions on the Max/Lando incident? It felt like the old Max was back, which we hadn't seen for a while.(due to not having much competition) Even during the sprint race, Max defended brilliantly and clean - but thought during the battle on Sunday, he moved a couple times late in the breaking, which eventually lead to the collision!

Is this Alonso's worst season so far in Formula One, more mistakes than previous seasons and looked clumsy more often than he normally does?

It’s time to really question Max’s decision making in wheel to wheel battles with his rivals. Max is clearly a great all time driver but too often when battling top drivers he turns into Pastor Maldano and simply makes multiple moves under braking, pushing drivers off the track or puts the next driver in a position of either having to give up or cause a crash and this time Lando said he wasn’t going to let Max bully him. Max has been given a pass on these type of moves but Brazil 21 and especially Saudi 21 where if it was a driver like KMag the media would be calling for a race ban

And the consequence of the lap deletion in qualy cost him an inherited win

I always enjoy the random bits of Formula 1 attendance logistics that Ed shares. As someone who’s never been to a race in person (though I desperately want to when I can save enough), what is it truly like to be a fan at a live F1 event? Is there one race that’s best to attend over all others for a first timer? Thank you!

Is George Russell's performance over Hamilton, this season, a consequence of the team favouring Russell in the wake of Hamilton's exit at the end of the season or is Russell's overall performance improving and Hamilton's declining?

Question on the stewarding... How were they so comfortable sitting on their hands when lando got close to verstappen? Max was clearly moving reactively under braking, and the black and white flag was nowhere to be seen. And when it finally came to tears because max kept going unpunished, he was handed an inconsequential slap on the wrist? What is going on in race control? Am I just being partisan? And is it time for the drive through to make a return?

If Perez keeps up this form for much longer will Red Bull try to tear up his contract for 2025? Red Bull need 2 cars at the front with the pack converging, not one car battling the Haas cars.

Why was max so slow after the last scheduled stop? It was a slow stop but the car seemed to change after that. Thanks

A question about Piastri? Who are we benchmarking him against as judgment about his career to date?
What is your assessment against other young drivers from the recent era 30 odd races into their career?

Could Lando have taken the fight to Max in the Sprint if he hadn't lost out to Oscar? He seemed the faster McLaren.

Could this public spat between Jos & Christian be another nail in the coffin for Maxs future at Red Bull? Seems more and more likely he’ll leave for Mercedes in the not too distant future. Thanks!
