I hope you're all doing great! I just wanted to drop a quick note to remind everyone what makes our Patreon community so awesome. We're all about inclusivity, respect, and having a blast together.
To keep things fun and friendly, let's avoid political discussions here. There are plenty of places online for that. Our focus is on enjoying music, art, and each other's company. We want this to be a welcoming space for everyone, including folks from all political backgrounds and our queer friends.
Remember, this is a drama-free zone! Let's keep it positive, supportive, and all about the good vibes.
Exciting news: I'll be adding moderators over the next few days to help keep our community great. Alle is our first moderator, so give them a warm welcome! If you see anything that doesn’t feel right, you can use the report button on a comment or post.

It’s gonna be another round of “blah blah I’m the mod and everyone should praise/respect because only of me yelling I’m the mod/listen to/be afraid etc of me” 🙄 That’s my honest opinion. P.S. even though I clearly understand that I went mia here and my comment won’t really matter.

It's your Patreon so ultimately you should be the one calling the shots and we should all support and respect you. Overall this is a very caring and understanding community. I personally don't think we needs mods because of that reason and I just hope the mods are not super biased and only listen to the ones they like more and know in person. Just because some of the mods may know others in person does not necessarily mean that their friends are always in the right or have the best judgement. I hope and pray things go smoothly, I really don't plan on leaving this community. Thank you Joel for acknowledging all of us and trying to keep things good here.

I'm not proud of my outburst from this spring either, but I learned my lesson and nowadays I try to stay away from here if I don't feel good and try to deal with things on my own.

I strongly believe that people need a safe space from the craziness from the world, and a lot of people, myself included, consider your channel and the Patreon that place. A community of people that just want to enjoy watching videos, and talking to people that want the same things. The fact that a simple Patreon page would mods is sad, but I guess it's necessary. As long as the mods are fair and kind, and don't take it too far, I'm good with your choices. I would volunteer my services, but I'm usually never online enough, but I'll do what I can to keep an eye out for all the negative comments regardless. We can all work together to make this a safe space for everyone 💜 Much love to all

2024-06-02 11:48:05 +0000 UTCIt basically means that if someone is struggling to see past one side of the story, they’re able to flip it and shut it down with explanation. I’m very much here for the place to be positive and always will be. For example, it’s where I come to attempt to spread positivity and post unhinged memes to escape reality. It’s also where I come to learn about seeing things from different angles and why I might be blinded by my own views. I really feel like, without this chat, I wouldn’t have been able to adjust and develop the way that I am. I just feel like we need mods from all perspectives to help keep things rounded. I think, realistically, there will always be disputes (we know I’ve have a moment this year, the one I posted back earlier this year still plays in my head quite frequently) but keeping them off here and diverting people to take it up personally rather than posting them here is the main key. It is an escapism here for most of the active members and we need to keep it that way. I hope this post makes some sort of sense 😅 Hope you’re well JK 😊

If I have understood correctly what mod's job is, it's to oversee that the comments follow Patreon guidelines and if not, politely let the person know that it's not ok. I don't think we need any harsh, mean or overly blunt comments to make things more negative or hurt more feelings. At least I hope that the mods will just politely address the issue and explain why it's not ok and that will be it.
