Your Saturn is domiciled in Capricorn but conjunct Uranus (eccentricity, unpredictable events), so you should come through the experience stronger but I’m sure it was quite a ride (if I knew your birth time I could elaborate more). My SR was really rough, and I have an exalted Saturn! I’m with you 100% on romantic relationships & it’s actually scientifically proven that (most) people lose their pair bonding ability with mote partners. And more relationships = more baggage. So the necklace analogy is a good one.

As for the dating thing, it's fine not being a serial dater, just like it's fine for people to want to date more freely. Whatever works, and whatever makes you happy, Joel. I don't date just to date either. I would rather be single than to be with someone just to say I was in a relationship. I've only dated a handful of guys in my lifetime, and I'm 36. If you find that girl, than you will. You're still young, and you never know what the Universe has planned for you. Take care of yourself first. 🥰

Unlike our Swedish Boi though, I went the opposite way. When I realised it was a load of baloney* and was old enough to stay home alone while they went to meetings, I went out and discovered what the world could give me. Yeah, it's not always worked out but that's life I guess 🤷 Also, I've personally given up on dating too. After 17 years of being with the wrong person, I'm happy being single. I guess one day I'd like to meet the love of my life but I'm not searching, I'mma wait for him to find me. I feel like the harder you search the more disappointing and disheartening it becomes and you end up settling. Don't settle for anything less than who and what you deserve 💯 x *(disclaimer: that's my opinion. No offence meant to anyone who follows a religion, it's just not for me, I live by my own ideals of simply being a good person)

Sounds like you've found your way there. Yeah, dating is fucking weird, man. I've barely dated either, I can count the dates I've been on on in my life on my fingers. And the one time there was something, we definitely weren't compatible as people, lol. I'm starting to wonder if maybe I'm somewhere on the ace spectrum, lol, who knows. Life is weird. Sigh. And back when I was on Tumblr, the side I was on had a lot of former Christians taking about their childhood brainwashing vis-a-vis relationships. I hadn't heard the necklace one, but I heard "already chewed gum", "taking the petals off a flower one by one", "like a piece of tape becomes less sticky the more you place it and move it", all variations on that same theme of each relationship fundamentally devalues you as a person, as if your worth, your value was inherently linked to your relationship status. 🙄 I grew up in Reform Judaism, ain't none of that bull from us, lol. We're one step removed from Unitarian Universalists when it comes to welcoming everybody lol. In fact, in the town where I grew up, our Reform synagogue was right next to the Unitarian church, shared a parking lot and playground with it, and would co-host events sometimes.

I'm the same though about not really paying attention to my siblings' work and they are the same with me so I totally get that lol. Very cool that you are working from the same studio that Ace of Base recorded and that you will be around other musicians for inspiration and motivation! I've never heard of that necklace metaphor, but can definitely relate to the idea of it in terms of energy. I would like to think I'm not brainwashed either, but who knows lol! Your oversharing reminds me that its okay to have different ways in life - keep working on your healing journey and the rest will come at the right time when its meant to be. Sometimes its hard to see friends doing the regular way and you start questioning your life choices (especially in our age), but I learned that every decision I made in the past was right eventhough it didnt felt that way at first. Healing is important and its okay to focus on yourself for sometime to figure out where you really see yourself in life. Its actually more healthy than searching for someone out of the wrong reasons. After turning 30 all kinds of aches and pains started, so I can totally relate, welcome to the club lol! I like the idea of u making songs based on some conversation topics, that are interesting to u, it could give interesting angle and twist to the songs. Friends with video benefits lmao 🤣 Sadly it's a bit one-sided to u though, I mean we get to watch ur videos, but what do u get out of this 😂 It must have been tough to have public relationship and breakup. It's enough to deal with even without the other people's comments etc. I don't have super religious upbringing, but I still don't want to f around or date around, so maybe it's personality thing too. But it feels almost like a waste of time to go on multiple dates that leads to nothing and getting really intimate with someone that u don't have feelings for isn't just my thing. So I can relate to the tendency of having long relationships. That has had a negative side to it too, when giving non-functional relationship too many chances for too long... Sorry for the over sharing 😅 It's just interesting topic.. I have never heard that necklace comparison, but I think that one could also think of it so, that even though the necklace might get a bit broken, but it also gets stronger in a sense that one learns new things about oneself and what u want or don't want in the future.
