2024-05-09 05:15:18 +0000 UTCWith snare drums, I think the difference between a “wet” and “dry” sound has to do with the amount of reverberation heard when hitting the drum. A “wet” snare sounds more echo-y or far away and a “dry” snare is more short/crisp/clean/close. The degree of wet vs dry is kinda subjective though. And if a song is described as sonically “wet”, I would interpret that to mean it sounds far away, where “dry” would sound closer. I could be dead wrong though, so please don’t quote me on this 😅

I found myself agreeing with your opinion for the majority of the video, except for when you said you have a fat butt. I happen to think you have a nice, cute little butt 😄 Also the end of the video with the "YouTuber apology video incoming" got a pretty good giggle out of me; I snorted 😅 Thank you for the early access video and I hope the move goes very smoothly for you, Joel. 💗

I first thought it was a cover, 'cos it sounds so much like some other song. It wasn't Creep that first came to my mind, even though it does remind me of that too. Dang I hope I can figure it out or that someone else does 😅 I kinda wish that u could make educational video for us about musical things being wet 😅 You have mentioned things like snare being wet and now u used it again on this video with sonically wet and since I'm a musical dumb dumb I kinda would like to have explanation with example what is it that makes snares etc wet and can then something be dry as well and what that sounds like 🤪 I'm sorry, this is a dumb thought and maybe I'm alone wondering this... And I know u don't have time to teach music stuff for dummies... Just trying to understand what u mean 🫣 Thanks for the early access! Have a great time with the microphone video 🙂💙
