It’s so expensive and so tiring, and there’s no personal space. 👵🏻 My dream concert would be set up like those vip movie theatres with the comfy seats that are like one metre apart, and tickets are cheap and they bring you snacks lol 😆

2023-09-13 15:23:23 +0000 UTCI hate the system where they start selling the tickets according to the demand, it's insane that tickets on not so great seats are over 300€. I think it's just unfair. I can relate to that wanting to have a seat, the artist must be one from the must see list for me to get standing tickets.

They are coming to Finland for the first time next year and tickets were sold like crazy and they kept on adding new concert dates. I hope u get to see them live someday. I managed to get 2 tickets and I regret that I didn't try to buy the maximum 6 tickets, 'cos so many people I know didn't get through and weren't able to get tickets. The ones I managed to get were standing places and weren't super expensive at that moment. But the prices are way too high most of the time.

2023-09-09 01:21:44 +0000 UTCYeah, I’m kicking myself a bit about the Bon Jovi thing because 4-5 years before the concert I went to they had another one that by all accounts was really good. It’s my life was one of my favourite songs when I was younger and it still gives me a happy feeling when I hear it (if I’m in my car I will also sing every single word 😁). I also want to get to see Coldplay because their concerts look amazing, but I found the tickets price too high for the tour next year.

Too bad about the Bon Jovi 😔 I have never seen him live, but he has some sweet ballads that takes me back to old times for sure and I can imagine that it was quite a disappointment if those classics weren't like they used to in a concert.

Interesting how there’s a sweet spot in seeing artists when they’ve been around long enough that they don’t give a f, but before they’ve totally burned themselves out. Never really thought about how important that timing is. I guess when they’re a lot older it’s a different story, because at that point it’s more about just seeing them while they’re still around.

He is such a talented performer, great voice and that “I don’t give a F” attitude you were talking about were also there 6 years back. I would love to see him again before he loses it, because I waited too long to go to a Bon Jovi concert and when I finally got to do it, it was a huge letdown as he didn’t have the energy or the voice to do it anymore

2023-09-06 21:42:44 +0000 UTCIn the beginning of the concert he introduced himself, his band and his butt while bending over towards the crowd and later he showed his naked butt from Take That era on a giant screen being super proud of his younger butt 😁 So he might not be so embarrassed about much anything lol. But I agree with u, that it might be a secret taken to the grave material to me too, even though in a loud concert nobody hears the farts (mics hopefully can't pick up fart sounds from that distance 😅) And yeah he was great live, to my amateur ears his age had not affected his voice much at all and his speeches between the songs were touching (he talked a lot about his struggles) and he was hilarious. Kinda like concert and a stand up comedy mixed together 🙂

Martinin is writing the 6th book, but he went to traveling etc so it's not finished yet or something... Or has he given up 😅 That was one of the reasons for procrastinating for me, 'cos I thought that if I would manage to read the 5 books I would have to wait for the 6th still ..

So each book is one season and there are only five books so you only follow the books for the first five seasons. Then they basically just made fanfic for the last three seasons and it's not very good. But if you're not a native English speaker, it's going to be pretty difficult to read those books. I'm American only speaking English and I had a hard time reading the books. They're very long-winded. And there are a lot of characters with the same or similar names and they're in different places and times. A few of my friends started reading the first book and only got a couple of chapters in and then gave up because they just said it was too hard to remember everything and follow along. Even though they had seen the show and kind of knew what was going on.

I haven't read the books yet, they are waiting for better times in my bookshelf, 'cos I had a king idea to buy those in English to broaden my vocabulary, which lead me to procrastinate to start the project 😅 I also hated the ending of the tv series, so that's another reason why I ain't too motivated to read the books. But I still think it was a nicely unpredictable, bold and wellmade tv series 😁

I love when knowledgeable people discuss in a casual way about subjects they have a interest in, probably why I never had a problem with the videos where Roomie just reacts to stuff.

Every once in a while, somebody comes out with something truly groundbreaking or different, but for the most part, it’s recycled tropes, ideas, and themes with predictable presentations. I think people have gotta be willfully ignorant or living with their heads in the sand or something in order to be oblivious to it. However, that’s not to say that I think predictability always equals not-entertaining, because it *can* still be entertaining…it’s just that following the status-quo has the *capacity* to cause apathy or disinterest over time (for me anyway) 🤷🏽♀️😕

For some reason I saw two power button symbols and = in it when I saw it for the first time, so my silly brain read too much into it when I was wondering if it had anything to do with infinite power on or something 😅 yeah crazy 🤪 U don't sound too happy about the logo, but I still kinda like it 😁 I agree with u about the movies (I hope that Oppenheimer won't turn out to be a paid 3 hour nap tomorrow 😅).
