Wisdom Teeth lol

Just wanted to update you, I had 3 of my wisdom teeth removed last week and I haven't been able to do much. On a liquid diet and in a fair amount of discomfort, but happy to get it done as it's been bothering me for a while.
I want to try to write or post a video summary of what I've been up to each day on here, both for you guys and to track my productivity. Expect the first one today (and don't expect me to keep it up if it gets in the way of actual productivity or adds too much stress hehe).
Trying to figure out the visuals for the songs from the voice messages video - I'm thinking kinda standard, in the studio singing and with instruments to start. We could go a more music video route or animation route but that might compromise the authenticity and spontaneous feel of it. Let me know your thoughts.
Also want to release So Selfish soon. Unclear if I'll have the capacity to film a real music video for it, I've got some low-key anxiety about actually making music videos. Let me know your thoughts on what we could do :)

I'm a little late here, I just wanted to say that I would love to have a video of your songs, but if it stresses you out don't do it, no problem. Or it could be a video with actors and some shots of you singing in the studio. Even a lyric video would be great. I send you a hug and good vibes.

As for the music video for So Selfish.. if you're not really feeling inspired for something for it, maybe it'd be best to go all out on a music video for a different song. But, I also feel like you should definitely try to get over your anxiety about it. Might be a good idea to give it a go to ease some anxiety before putting out a whole album and wanting to make videos for that.

For “So Selfish”, you could start with a lyric video, I also enjoy simple music videos of studio singing, similar to how you film the mash-up singing videos. I’m sorry music videos give you anxiety, yours are always fun though! I have noticed a trend more of music videos being visualizers or lyric videos with visuals more often, for example a lot of band Camino videos have been “on stage”look or fun lyric videos with visuals. It doesn’t seem necessary to have several locations, or a story anymore, just a nice vibe to go along with the audio. So excited for “so selfish”!

2023-03-20 21:15:57 +0000 UTCI was talking about wisdom teeth just this weekend and how the reason we have them is because our other teeth used to fall out more often due to lack of dental hygiene and wisdom teeth are there as a replacement, so evolutionarily speaking surely it makes more sense to remove the four existing molars at the back to let the wisdom teeth come through properly - just my two-th cents - hehe

I have really liked the ones u have made for Own you, Do you think of me, Missing something.. also liking the way the lyrics have been added in the Dating a douchebag and Long distance love videos.. so could that video be something like those? I don't know if you have any video material of the making of the songs, or how your thought process went from the message to the song... But that would be interesting! Also animated or funny ones with Chance or someone else could be fun. I just wanna blend in brings to my mind bonfire, guitar playing and people getting weirded out by the oversharing, for some reason Allergy boy made me think of Game of Thrones with the winter bending the knee, people sneezing after victory on the battle and everything blooming 🤪 Single & alone made me think of u playing Minecraft and making your home a fortress with blocking windows and doors and so on... yeah I don't know why I had to share these weird useless thoughts 😅 Good with my hands would just be great as a sketch, it basically has the storyline ready 😄 Sorry I'm not much of a help, since I don't have the knowledge about how much work, time, money and effort different options require 😅😁 But I really like the songs and your vocals on them, so maybe they don't need much more than you singing them 🙂 For some reason I feel a bit wrong liking the Good with my hands so much, but it's such a feel good song and makes me smile every time, fart humor works every time 😁 That belting or is it chest voice, well that " give me a chance" part sounds really good 🎶🥰 I can't wait to hear So Selfish finished with all the lyrics 🥰 Sorry to hear that u feel anxiety over the music video. I think u have it in u to make it, but u need to do what makes u feel comfortable and what's doable of course 😊 I'm just happy to see it released, it's such a great song 🙂💙 So Selfish brought only really cliché kind of soundscapes or thoughts into my mind that I better leave those unsaid 😆 Sorry for the long and weird verbal diarrhea 😅 Have a nice day 🙂

Why did you choose to have three wisdom teeth removed at once? My experience is only one at a time, I was a bit off for the rest of that day, but after that everything was completely ok, still taking the medication they gave me for a week I think. For your song if you are not up for a mv just release it without one, the more music you have finished and out, the better

I got just one that was bothering me removed a few months ago at nearly 30, wasn't fun, but luckily I still could eat soft foods on the one side. Recovery from tooth extraction when you're older than teens/early 20s can be no joke. For the messages video I agreed with others who mentioned to do it the singing on green screen style like was done for the competition videos, or similar. Also agree that you could launch So Selfish with a lyric video and work up to releasing a full music video. You could do something where you aren't the only focus of the video, if that helps.

As far as music videos for both you singing in front of a green screen is always a fun kind of video. Have something going in the background that's related to the song.

Have you considered hiring someone else to act in the music videos instead of being in them if you’re not 100% comfortable with being featured? 😊

It’s crazy how big they are compared to the others (and no.. you don’t actually have to answer the “did you keep the teeth question)… Soo excited for so selfish!!! I don’t think you need to dive right into a “proper music video” if you’re not ready. It’ll feel forced and we’ll all notice that. Maybe a visualizer if you really feel a need for something… but I don’t think it’s necessary And the voice clips video.. same.. keep it authentic to you.. show clips of process and maybe even some of your initial responses of hearing them lol but no need for forced music videos Hope you start feeling better

I hope the swelling and pain is going down, lukewarm liquid diets suck but you could convince a vegan protein powder company to sponsor you through the liquid diet phase, being paid might make it feel better lol. If you want to release So Selfish soon then go with a lyric video, you can always do a FSOS and release a video afterwards if it takes off. Hugs for the chubby cheeks 🤗

Just a studio video or a green screen video like you did for some of the songwriting videos would work for the song suggestion video. Maybe mix it up a bit. Don't feel too anxious about the vid for So Selfish. A lyric vid would be fine although at some point it will be a big benefit to do a more ambitious vid. Looking forward to seeing these projects completed. Have a boba tea. It might help!

That's a good idea to post your productivity - almost like Journaling to keep track of your progress and lend some accountability. I would just film a lot of stuff you do and let the editors shoulder the load at first, narrow it down for you so you have less to sort out. I hope you heal quickly and feel better soon!
