I just recovered from covid and got back to work, singing lesson and some songwriting today. I made this chorus in a few hours today, question is, should I go this semi-comedic route with it or write something else for the responses/or maybe just make them sung? Not gonna lie tho I kinda like the screaming, gets the message across. Let me know what you think!
Btw I have a levels video we never released, I might show it to you guys soon and ask what you think we should do with it :)

Second, about the song, the shouty bits are funny, the parts you actually sing are very much as you usually sing, I am very curious if for this being a comedic song you would have tried something else, I know you don’t like the whispery voice but maybe for this one it would work as a contrast? It reminds me of those videos you made using comments to write songs (a la Let's Invade Norway). I can even see the music video for this song now lol My favorite line is the "Whatcha doin, whatcha doin" bit. So catchy!

It's giving real comical vibes but with a personal insight attached. That said, try not to go too hard on yourself lyrically!

However, just my opinion, I kinda think ya should lean into it more serious. I love the lyrics.. it’s relatable to feel like someone is out of your league or too good for you, and that could be made into a relatable, cool and fun pop song, maybe with sarcastic vibes- kind of like how you did with “oh summer”. Anyway, glad you are feeling better and are having fun with music!
