Holiday time!
Added 2022-12-20 09:55:24 +0000 UTCI just arrived in Sweden! The airline lost my bag so I have no clothes or toiletries hahaha but I'm still in good holiday spirits. Met my dad yesterday, meeting more of my family today. It's crazy when you live abroad, everyone grow and change so much while you're gone. My parents & my brother all switched jobs since last time I was here. My sisters' kids have grown a lot. I sometimes feel like I'm living multiple lives, but I also love living abroad and the life I built there.
Ok so work stuff! As I've said before, I'm going to take January off to work on music. Starting february, things are getting a lot more exciting with videos. I'm looking to experiment a lot more and go on 'feel' - which means I can do some really interesting stuff. If you have ideas you never really suggested before because they felt too "out there" or something, let me know, I would love to hear them.

I hope your bag makes it to you, but know that the fam won't care if you wear a potato sack for the entire month, they're just happy to see YOU. For the time being, try not to think too much of work. Take time with your loved ones, eat well, and rest and relax. As far as suggestions go, I think seeing you and the boys do a project together (as opposed to the competitions). The competitions are great! The interactions you have are fun. I just think it would be a fun spin. Happy holiday, Joel! Excited to see where 2023 takes us!

I can't count the amount of times I've looked out of a plane window to see some poor buggers luggage just sat on its lonesome on the apron floor...I mean how do you miss that one bag, did it just fling itself from the cart?? Take lots of time to create memories whilst with your family. You're right people grow and change so fast (especially the babies). My plane yesterday back to home was late 'cos the icy rain had made the runway in Landvetter too slippery for it to take off and the runway & plane had to be defrosted first, lol. Like, studio recordings where they didn’t correct the pitch for whatever reason. Maybe great live performances too. Seems like people are so interested in autotune, it would be cool to somehow show some differences in approach. Or maybe you and Jonas and August could defend your all-time favourite pitchy takes - a ‘Pitchy Olympics’ or something, lol. You guys definitely seem to have some contrasting opinions on this and it’s hilarious. Anyways, I hope you have the best break.
