Production update/comparison: "So Selfish"

Decided I really like the topline "so selfish" I posted here a while back, so I started producing it more properly. Have a listen to the old version vs the new one (second half of this audio file. Quite a difference huh :P
Gonna be re-recording vocals and changing some melodies and stuff, adding more stuff etc. Excited about this one!

Why can I not make a post on here? Not for comments coz I can certainly do comments on here lol but whenever I feel like I wanna say something on my own post to get to your comment page section. I write it all down and then I push the post button above, and it's not at all letting me post it, why's that? Did I do something wrong? I can write things down in the make a post but when once I'm done I hit the post button above top right corner on my phone screen and it doesn't do anything doesn't publish anything I'm saying. What's going on. Am I doing something wrong, or have I done something wrong. It never has been done this me before now I can't post anything. The the post sign is red , is that a sign, clue for something or is that the color it's always been , I just never noticed or realized it until now.

It's an interesting/amazing to hear the differences in each one of demos, rough cuts,snippets, to see how it's in production amd steps of being mixed or something. I'm very much into that stuff lol call me an music nerd but whateves I love it! Especially when coming from an songwriter myself lol, trying to produce my own music but it's very hard for me to get my music out anywhere cause I'm not at all in any music business/industry's,etc. Any tips,advice that you can give me for producing my own music, like the beats, (I have sorta an older verison laptop but I don't think it can even take an editing, vocal programs of any sorts without crashing or causing it to have anti-viruses on my laptop) If you see this, please help,give me some tips, advice, feedback, would love to hear your thoughts on it. 🙂🎶🎼🎵👍

I'm not sure how I feel about "so selfish" being sung in a higher key/octave(?) because I really like the deeper vocals in the rest of it. I'm not sure how it would work sung lower though meep Edit: Okay so listening to this a few more times and hearing that heavy 80s inspo especially with the synth, maybe just maybe (this could be the worst idea ever) try doing "so selfish" in a Depeche Mode type way like "Personal Jesus" JUST THROWING IT OUT THERE
