Is "27 Chances" too close of an artist name to 'Twenty One Pilots' and '21 Savage'?

I don't know much about marketing, but I read over and over again that the human brain is a sucker for coherent stories (like al the what does it mean questions). So I would say if you believe in this name, tell/create a coherent story to help with those associatons and go for it.

Is this going to be like melancholy you had your chances and blew it, 27 times is very generous if so 😋 Or is it more upbeat and synthy in which case you could make it artsy and have Tjugosju Chanser because 27 chances sounds much more artsy in Swedish, it already sounds 80s inspired!

I tried telling my friend about Joel's music and she was confused about him having different songs under different names (so much so I don't think she listened to any Lil Pitchy music). I think it's confusing to new people who don't know Joel from YouTube.

If you pick a new name will you move lil pitchy songs under it? I like your voice & different styles and it would be so much easier to tell people I like Joel, as my fav artist and point them to your music, as it is, I’m like I like joel..but some songs are under roomie, lil pitchy for newer stuff. Saying you can't (or shouldn't) use that name because of Twenty One Pilots or 21 Savage is like telling you you can't use certain chords or scales in your music because someone has already used it in their music - it makes no sense. Just go with the name you like - I'm sure it will be great.

It rolls of the tongue so easily, especially with the alliterations on "t" at the beginning from "twenty" and the "s" sound from "seven" and "chances". It did not even cross my mind that it sounds like 21 pilots. The only similar thing is both names have numbers, but so do Thirty Seconds to Mars and 5 Seconds of Summer, yet nobody complaints they are too similar.

Like, when I think of 21 Pilots, my mind doesn't immediately go to 21 Savage. I don't correlate the two at all. I think if you were to use any one of these, once you have some music to go *with* the name, it won't be something ppl will associate with 21 Pilots/Savage. I hope that made sense lol
