Monthly Update - March 2022

How are you? Some housekeeping up top, I’m going to start trying to do these monthly roundups at the end of each month on Patreon to keep some of our biggest supporters (that’s you!) up to date with everything that’s going on in the world of Three Black Halflings.
I’ve got to start this off with talking about one of the biggest things that happened this month. Me and Jeremy broke out from behind our computer screens and attending our first in-person D&D event! We just got back from D&D in a Castle, and boy what a wild ride it was! I was left a little stunned at the end, we played over 24 hours of D&D in three days. There was laughs, there was tears, there was epic rolls. It was pretty emotional when we wrapped, it was such an incredible shared experience we just had, it was magical! When we weren’t playing, D&D in a Castle set up different activities for us to try. We did some mini-painting, falconry, axe throwing, archery (turns out I am actually not bad at archery so I will now be playing rangers exclusively), and Jeremy and I went on some lovely walks around the castle grounds!
We also got to interview some great guests this month in Jedi Master Tegan Jenkins and Eric Silver of ‘Join The Party’.
Behind-the-scenes we finished recording not one, but two, upcoming mini-arcs which we are very excited about! Both are very different in tone! We’re planning to release one of these in May and the other in June before our next campaign which we are currently gearing up for in the Summer.
Upcoming things to look out for, we have an interview with Carlos Luna dropping this Monday, we chatted to him about what it’s like forging a career for yourself in this wild industry and we spoke a lot about online discourse and how to present yourself, it’s a fascinating listen with some amazing advice from Carlos if you are looking to enter a creative industry! Monday 11thApril also marks our 100th episode of Three Black Halflings so we’ve got a little something special planned for this with the familiar faces popping in.

I’m on tenterhooks waiting for the new miniarcs and summer campaign, and looking forward to the great interviews you have lined up in the meantime. Also, WOOOO, 100 episodes! That’s a huge milestone.
