Vaonis Vespera Review - Video Premiere on Wed. Nov. 30

I have a new comparison review video premiering Wednesday (11/30) at 12 noon ET (9am PT, 17:00 UTC, 5pm UK time). It is approximately 19.5 minutes long. Hope to see some of you there in the live chat! In this video:
- I walk through my experience of using a Vaonis Vespera vs. my Spare Parts Rig
- Explore the pros and cons of each setup
- Show the results of a shoot-out on the Horsehead Nebula
Clear skies, Nico
Yes, but Vaonis has said I can keep it a couple weeks to test the mosaic mode I mentioned near the end. In theory that should eliminate a lot of the walking noise. If I don't make another video, I'll atleast do an update post here on my findings.

Nico - I live on a remote off-grid canyon ranch with bortle 1/2 skies - do you feel that I would have the same walking noise issues with the Vespera that you did during your initial test?

Reminds me of “Tars” from interstellar 😂 I’m finding too much automation is a hobby killer though. That’s why I admire how Nico goes back to the basics a lot. I’m looking at going backward and improving things. Using the ZWO Camera on my old 135mm samyang with an l-Extreme filter. Still trying to figure out how to do the same with the 50mm and 14mm lens. Mounting is the issue I have.

Its basicly the "antinerd" vs the "nerd rig" showdown
