Andromeda, Part 2A, DSS & GIMP now up

So this is just a notification that Part 2A (DSS+GIMP) for my newest series is now live. Part 2B (Siril+GIMP) and 2C (PixInsight) should be uploaded by the end of the week. Working on a number of exciting other videos as well.
Hope everyone is doing well. We have had some smoke from the west coast fires here in Boston, but it did clear up this weekend a bit for at least one good night of imaging.

2020-10-17 16:08:25 +0000 UTCI mis-spoke on the filter. I have an Astronomic UHC on an EOS-Ra. I was out again last night working on M-31 and left the filter off even though M-31is getting close to the horizon(thus the light pollution). This was before I watched your video on filters. I think I agree with you're observation that a moded camera, Ra in this case, is better off without a light pollution filter. I think I will give up on the "Rosey" version of M31 for now. I have no experience with Siril and I'm spending what cycles I get on getting better at Gimp and PS.

2020-10-13 14:13:43 +0000 UTCJoined patreon for the first time because of the help this Video(and a couple of your others) has provided me in my first M31 attempt. Heavy red tint from my Optolong light pollution filter was proving hard to get rid of in PS. Following your method with only sight modifications along the way has greatly improved my resulting image using GIMP. Still working on it though.
