Poll result: Astronomy Filters - it is!
Added 2020-04-13 21:57:39 +0000 UTCI will start writing this video and trying to acquire more filters now. Let me know in the comments if there are any specific kinds of filters you want me to cover. I can't give an exact ETA on when this video will come out, but hopefully in the next month or so. Thanks to all who voted/commented and to everyone on here! I really appreciate your support!
Cheers, Nico

I pulled the trigger on this filter. I bought it from EU and saved about $50. I should have it next week, I've also seen vids of positive reviews for the DSLR. Now I only need good weather! P.S. love seeing my name at the end of your last vid! Thanks my friend!

2020-05-15 21:50:12 +0000 UTCBoy I can't wait for that one! I'm going to hold off lone buying that filter because of price. In the states it's $229, I found it over seas for $184, best price I could find. Cant wait!

2020-05-03 18:13:06 +0000 UTCHi Don, I have bought that one for the video, and have a feeling that it will be a good one for nebulae with an unmodified DSLR. I haven't yet done any testing or imaging, but I hope to in the next new moon period in May. When I started with astroimaging, I was using the Astronomik CLS clip-in. It is a similar idea to the L-eNhance, but the L-eNhance supposedly retains better star color. I'll be testing/covering all that in the video.

2020-05-03 17:45:37 +0000 UTCI'm wondering about this filter for a DSLR. Has anybody here tried one? Optolong L-eNhance Dual Bandpass Light Pollution Reduction Imaging Filter... They are not cheap!

2020-04-22 19:26:56 +0000 UTCI really like my ZWO ASI1600MM-Cool. It's pretty versatile and could do all of the above. They have packages that include the filter wheel and all the broadband and narrowband filters that I think is a good deal.

2020-04-22 14:32:04 +0000 UTCI have a Canon EOS 7D. Looking to buy a CCD camera, What do you recommend for a starter? To do every thing e.g. nebula, large galaxies, planetary. I have a 115mm refractor. Still learning.
