Orange cap!
Added 2025-06-20 16:50:54 +0000 UTChello everyone!!! today I have for you! A universal orange safety cap for props!!! so this model has been one of the trickiest things to make! Originally, I wanted to come up with a design that could pop on, pop off of any prop I design, so I started out with pressure clips! These would grab onto the inside of a barrel, this sort of worked, but had issues. when scaling it down, the clips would become too weak, as well as the opposite for scaling too big! for reference, we are going from the barrel of the Halo 5 magnum to the boltor! it was also too finicky getting the scale just right and not scratching up the paint! after many iterations, it just didn’t want to work.
so we have gone back to basics on this one!! it is a cap that you resized to fit over the barrel, and you use blue tack to hold it in place :D this means you don't need a micron-accurate resize, it's universal, and the big one! it won't damage the paint on the model!!! :D
