2020-05-22 07:32:52 +0000 UTCMy dad makes rye bread every Christmas. It smells so good when it’s baking and fresh out of the oven. It’s best eaten as toast with a good amount of butter. Rye bread doesn’t really sound like it would be good, but it’s sooooo delicious. It’s the first thing I thought of when listening to this audio clip. 🍞🧈

I really like roasted brussel sprouts and I find they’re especially decadent with bacon. Stir fry with the rice sounds good, some kind of Thai dish I’m sure would go well. Stay safe and take care 😊

2020-05-22 05:50:29 +0000 UTCSomeday I would like to make this potato sourdough bread that my mother tried years ago. You feed the starter instant potato flakes. One loaf weighed about three pounds because it was so dense. And garlic naan bread is great with a lot of dishes. I really haven't been cooking fancy or elaborate dishes lately. I made chili this past weekend because I was feeling lazy and just wanted to cook once. Tomorrow's menu is chicken, mashed potatoes, and brussel sprouts. I was starting a grocery list earlier. I'm trying to think of things that will go with this basmati rice I have. My air fryer oven came with kebab skewers so maybe some kind of kebab, idk. I may end up doing stir fry instead.
