I agree that fall does have a rustic feel to it :) Even though it starts to get colder out, I believe it has an overall warm presence- if that makes sense haha

It's an interesting time of the year. I've mentioned this before, but I think of fall as having a kind of rustic quality, maybe because much of what I associate with fall can be found at farms. It's interesting that, in a season of cooler temperatures, it gives a strong presence to warm colors: the leaves, apples, pumpkins, cozy fires, etc. Maybe that's part of what gives it that warm atmosphere you mentioned. :)
It's so distinct, and yet it also seems rather short; when it 's cold enough for snow, and those colors become more muted, it feels more like winter, even though the start of winter is late in December.
