Whether you have safe place to store gas or not It's a good idea to have a few gas containers stored, for emergency.... I know one person who had to drive 100 miles one way in search of gas for her car after a tornado all the gas stations through her route was out of gas. She didn't owned a 5 gal gas container to brings some back home.
