2022-08-29 21:54:33 +0000 UTCIf you make 6 figures ($100,000) on paper, after the government takes it's part, you are no longer 6 figures. It must also be factored in how many people that income is supporting due to the desire to want to, not out of obligation. Please don't categorize ALL 6 figure earners as bad people. We are not!!! There is just $1 difference between a 6 figure earner and a 5 figure earner. So for those of us at the bottom of the 6 figure pre-taxation without representation barrell, please stop lumping us with the elite and very rich. I get penalized on Medicare because of my income (they introduced me to a cousin I had never met - IRMA), I got penalized in the military because of my income and had to pay a higher rate without a uniform allowance/food allowance, etc. It has always been "suck it up and be thankful" if you just happen to fall into a certain income bracket because you worked your butt off to get there, but I still fall into the club that George Carlin speaks of -It's one big club and you (I, Additionally, those who can afford to buy an EV (I can't), I don't see how they are necessairly coming out on top since Ford is artificially inflating the cost in the first place. In other words, if there was no government kickback say for a $50K car, would they raise the price by $8K to start with?
