I also encounter the same thing I no longer mention anything I don't want them at my house.....I just keep going my budget is small but I work it to get what I need. When that stimulus check got sent out I used it to buy items like freezer, canner, canning supplies etc ..... not clothes, electronics or eating out like most did and I didn't get that much from those checks because I'm on social security while others were swimming in the thousands..... non that I know of have any preps.... Today people only buy a week worth of food they been doing this for years claiming they like their food fresh ..... the last 45 yrs I have always kept a well stock pantry and freezer, it wasn't hard to do I just bought a large amount on good sales and discount.... no I was not a prepper I just bought that way you never know when an unexpected expense comes up and the last thing I need to worried about is how to feed my family...

2022-05-05 15:24:45 +0000 UTCNo, I do not think things are ever going back to the Eve of 2020. Gone forever. I prepare spiritually, mentally/emotionally, and physically. I have been "preaching" the preparedness message for 16 years and about 1 out of 5 will enthusiastically nod in agreement; about 1 out of 4 will say, if anything ever happens, I'm coming to your house; about 1 out of 3 will look at me like I have two heads; and 1 in about 150 will seriously begin to make some preparation plans. So sad.
