i can my own chicken but when i shop at sam's i always added a 6 pack chicken to my cart, but no more. i will purchase my meats on sale and can and freeze dry what i can.

This is where we are going folks. By the way - after Sam's raised their price on chicken, about 3 months later COSTCO's is now around $13 and will probably follow Sam's lead and go up to that $16 mark as well. Dollars worth less and less till they are worthless.
