I remember as a young child seeing ration books for my grandparents and even one for me as a baby, and reading old letters my mother had written to my grandparents asking for potato eyes and other simple, usually findable and inexpensive, things such as that. True need was plainly shown - sugar was one such item. Here we come 'round again.
2021-05-22 01:16:10 +0000 UTCSo you think they will devalue our digital wallets based on longetivity? Makes me wonder have they already been grooming us with the Gift Card rip off. Many companies will not honor gift cards after a certain time period and others will devalue them over time. Like the Military Exchanges on bases - for years they have been devaluing gift cards. I lost quite a bit of money because I used one and had $$$ left on it and didn't find out till too late that the card was "fined", "taxed", " pro rated" monthly down to zero balance. Yep - they have been preparing us in baby steps for the big kill.
