Lumber isn't quite that bad here in northern Wisconsin, but it's up quite a bit. I buy actual plywood as needed, not the OSB board. My house is 40x40, 3 stories high..the framing lumber is ONE FOOT apart, and TRUE 6x8", rough cut oak. Yeah, it's 130 years old..and built to stand. but I can't imagine what it would cost now...

Some insurance companies are strongly advising their clients to have their homeowners insurance policies re-evaluated to ensure rebuilding costs accurately reflect soaring prices. Contact your insurance company if you own a home or rental property regarding your coverage!
