The State is Counter-Revolutionary (Part 3)

I haven't finished the script at this point and there is a lot left. I am still reading the resources which will be utilized in the video. The three books which will contribute most to this video and the next are:
Maurice Meisner "Mao's China and After"
Chuang "Sorghum and Steel"
James C. Scott "Seeing Like a State"
I hope you all stick around as this one will probably be out pretty far behind schedule! However, I have a lot of part 4 done, as I wrote a substantial portion of it in an earlier draft when this was going to be a one part video (lol, wow...those were the days) and is being updated regularly as I have more thoughts on the theory of the state.
I also plan, when I reach 1500 subscribers, to do a livestream reading of Albert Camus' "The Myth of Sisyphus," as I think that it's the philosophy that helps me most in truly terrible times and I know everyone is very scared and exhausted because of the pandemic. I'm currently at 1416, so that's not too far away!
