One Of The Most Important Prep We Can Make Is To Teach Others

Not much I can do to help others because I am caregiver to my Mom and we are locked down, she's 93 yr old. My family does not live close to me so all my trying to help/teach has to be done on the phone. My Bro & Sis don't want to hear anything about prepping because they are too busy "living the life". I have a friend who lives across the country who cans so we talked. Come to find out they have ONLY canned vegetables! That opened a door I could help with. Meats along with (grid down foods) is what we've been talking about. They had no idea they could can meats so I'm happy I could share ideas and links for them.

Those big storage containers in the conduit cages are almost free here in wisconsin. Ours had sunflower oil in them.. food grade all around.

You can make the BEST SYRUP EVER from the birch trees in the background there.. Tap them like maples. It takes quite a bit more sap from a birch to make a gallon of syrup, but super worth it!

I love the landscape around your area.. thanks for showing your walk.. I have been teaching my grand daughters about pressure canning. They have their own little garden plot here. They plant, tend, and then harvest the things they grew in the fall. I also have them both sewing on my old time treadle machine, they have learned to make hand dipped beeswax candles, and both fish and are becoming good marksmen (markswomen, I guess) as my son is teaching them about hunting. They also take care of the chickens when they're here. Trying to teach them everything I can while I still can!
