I just partnered up with a good friend of mine that has property and years vegetables gardening experience to together increase his annual garden and production size. Will be canning this summer and fall Lord willing. Also partnered with one of my brothers to increase his chicken flock to secure eggs and some meat birds. Networking and building up communities to help one another and secure the future. My ultimate goal is to pull away from the system with each step.

AP is right folks, start planting! I live in the city and don't have a lot of ground to work. In fact here in AZ our dirt pretty much sucks. That being said I plant in containers and it's working! Right now I have onion, bush beans, sweet peas, turnip, beets bok choy and broad beans. That's my spring planting. We are in a grand solar minimum and the sun is not what it used to be so when seed shopping look at the time needed from start to finish. In other words buy what you can grow faster. Microgreens art really fabulous too. You can put them in salads or stir fry.
