“It will definitely help you relax.” Ron said to his coworker, Jane. She mulled that over for a few seconds, as she twittled the ipod in her hands. It had a cool touch to it, and a small display screen. She furrowed her brow at the small device, and looked back up at Ron.
“You know I’m skeptical about hypnosis shit.” she said to Ron. You see Jane had been going through some, stressful times to say the least. School wasn’t going so well for her this semester, parents were going through a messy divorce, and this job at the book store was wearing her thin. It was obvious on her face every time she walked in to start a shift. She just looked so disheveled from the world. So it was almost too easy for Ron when he suggested the hypnosis.
“I’m serious, worked wonders on my brother. You’re going to absolutely love it.” He said, shooting a reassuring smile. Jane shot one back, and looked back down at the device. She let out a short sigh.
“Ah what the hell? Worth a shot at least right?” She said, grabbing her things off the counter. “You’re working in two days right? Same here, I’ll let you know how it goes by then.” Jane said, slinging a bag around her shoulder.
Ron nodded and said, “Yes, we’ll talk more then. Remember it works best at night!” Jane was already walking toward the door. She just nodded in response.
“What a weird-o.” She thought, as she pushed open the door and out to the world. The walk back to her apartment passed with little excitement. She played with the ipod in her pocket from time to time. Her mind wandered about whether the ipod would actually work. “I’d love it does. But come on. Hypnosis? Isn’t that shit for cigarette smokers or for people that wet the bed?” She giggled to herself, then shrugged. “Hopefully he didn’t give me anything that’d turn me into some dumb bimbo or something.” She mused, “Na, you’d have to want to be turned into that anyways.” Jane mumbled. An ever so faint excitement jumped up her spine at that thought. She quickly dismissed it though. Her feet climbed the stairs up toward her apartment door. She swung it open, and closed it a little faster than she expected herself to…

Jane was in a store. It was your typical grocery store. People bustled about, all focused on their own day to day tasks. It was strange though, they seemed to move faster than normal. Jane just started walking down an aisle without much thought. She didn’t really have goal, or so she thought.
“And then you will turn down the diaper aisle, little girls get so excited when they see new diapers” a voice boomed in Jane’s head. She wasn’t her own voice, nor was she entirely sure where it was coming from. For some reason, she didn’t care though. She felt calm, completely relaxed even. The voice was there to help her, to make her feel better…
It was right when she saw the rows of diapers. Excitement swelter in her chest. Her emotions felt like fireworks as she grinned ear to ear at the sight of all the puffy diapers. She’d never felt anything like it before, all she knew as that she needed them.
“Love your diapers, you want diapers, you need diapers, all you can think about is diapers. You want to wear diapers in public, you want to wear them proudly, you don’t know how to cover your diapers.”
The voice boomed again, as she greedily grasped a bag of the thickest looking diapers. They had cute blocky patterns on them. She just kept nodding to what the voice was telling her.
“You want to wet your diapers so very badly. All you can think about is being a good dumb diaper wetter. Diapers will become your new underwear. You hate using the potty. Why would you when you can just use your diapers? That’s why they’re on aren’t they?”
Jane was on cloud nine as she walked to the register. Everything was blurry around her, but the voice would guide her. The happy, loving voice would tell her what to do. Each step felt like heaven. Holding her diapers just made her so happy. She almost couldn’t let them go to give to the cashier. It’s okay though, because she had a loving smile on her face.
“Are you gonna be a good girl and wet these right when you get in them?” The cashier said, her voice was like honey to Jane. She nodded quickly, and noticed her right arm did the same motion as her head. Her gaze shot down to see a thumb was planted firmly into her mouth. It felt so naturally for her thumb to be there. It helped her calm down, so why should she not have it in? Hasn’t that always been the best way to calm down?
“Me gonna be sush good guwl!” Jane said enthusiastically. The cashier just smiled back at her.
“Wake up.” Was all she said. Jane shot a confused look. “3…..2…..” The cashier continued, the world around Jane was starting to go all white. “WHAT THE!?” Jane screamed, but the world was already gone.

“….1” Blink. Jane shot up in her bed. She was in a cold sweat as her chest inflated and deflated rapidly. Her head swiveled around as she took in her surroundings. She was at home, in her bed. The ipod was off, but in her bed for some reason. “Was I… under… a trance?” She wondered, her breathing slowly coming down. She flung the blankets off of her bed.
“Shirt, check. Pants, check.” She lifted the waistband of her pants a little. “Diaper, check.” She even wiggled her legs a little to hear the crinkle. She absolutely loved it when they did that for some reason, she could never tell why. “Huh, did I dream that? Or did I really…?” She saw the same package of diapers that were at the store on her floor. A hole was ripped in at the top from someone who obviously took one. “No I… That was real… wasn’t it…?” She couldn’t put her finger on it.
“OH CRUDDY! I DIDN’T KNOW IT WAS TOMORROW ALREADY!” She yelled, catching a glance at her clock. She threw on a skirt, black long socks, a white jacket, and ran out the diaper. Diaper still clung tight to her waist.
