This transition between games has been... busier than anticipated. o_o Here's what I got done this week:

Finished and released the tattoo drawing
Made a farewell drawing for Grape Stomp-chan
Updated the "King of the Grapes" with the contest winner's name
Uploaded the final game update
Posted Grape Escape's Postmortem
Uploaded the Grape Escape Unity project for people to mod as they please
Updated Patreon with the new game's details
Continued learning the ins and outs of Godot

To be perfectly honest, this week has been such a blur that I didn't think I got much done until I looked over this list. I can't believe the tattoo drawing was this same week!

So far, learning Godot has been going quite well! I'm learning the engine's layout as well as its programming language, GDScript. Supposedly I can switch between that and C# as needed (if, say, I need more efficient code one area), so that's quite nice! GDScript seems much more user-friendly for game making, though.

Other than that, I've updated Patreon with new game goals, which you can see at the bottom of the home page! I've made them much simpler to implement this time (no ending cinematic this time!) and I'm keeping a sharp eye on feature creep. In fact, I've developed a new mantra: "I can put it in a sequel." Today alone it has helped significantly, haha!

Finally, I'm trying to learn how to balance Patreon and social media. I want some things to be patron-only to encourage people to join, but I also want lots of things to be publicly viewable to spread the word. It's a tough balancing act that, quite frankly, I'm no good at. :P I'm sure I'll get the hang of it eventually, but until then I hope you bear with me. ^^;

It's been one heck of a week for me, so I'm gonna sleep the weekend away, waking up only to go to the bathroom and eat Taco Bell. I'll see you guys again next week!
