Grape Escape 1.3.9 (The Underground Update)
Added 2021-01-14 14:27:44 +0000 UTCReminder: Do NOT move your save file into the newer version, as this will break certain features. Until this is resolved (or until full release) first-time startups of Grape Escape will give you 3,000 wine to start off with.
Additionally: If CG or upgrades are already unlocked and/or you're not getting the 3k starting wine, close the game and delete SaveData.dat from Grape Escape > Save Data. I was a derp and left my own save file in there from testing. Sorry about that. ^^;
Changelog:
- Made the floor sink with every stomp, represented by the background.
- Added lots and LOTS of visuals beneath the grape vat for your viewing pleasure!
- Changed depth amounts with stomping and upgrades. Also invented the term "Grape Meters".
- Gave the wine and depth UI a white-on-black look so they're visible in front of the background at all times.
- Fixed an issue with the WebGL version not giving the 3000 wine.
Known Bugs:
- The WebGL version may not play CG. Further testing is needed.
- During the death CGs, the skip button sometimes doesn't work.
- Refill grapes sometimes jitter in the ground, and on rare occasions they may float in the air above craters.
- The floor sometimes doesn't align properly when craters are formed. I haven't been able to reproduce this one; if anyone can screenshot it for me, I'd be very grateful!
- The CG requirements need to be updated with the new depth amounts. They still appear to play alright on the standalone versions.

2021-01-16 18:49:39 +0000 UTCHmm... Which version didn't give the wine: web, windows, mac, or linux? Edit: Just checked, it seems I accidentally left a save file in the download file. If you go into Grape Escape > Save Data and delete SaveData.dat, everything should work as intended the next time you launch the game. Sorry about that. ^^;
