December Drop Rugs - Progress (12/16)
Added 2022-12-16 23:02:21 +0000 UTCHey everyone! Here's the current status of the three rugs for this month's drop.
- Pikachu is being done first, and I've finished the preliminary level and cut. I'm going to level it again before I carve it, and then after carving I'll level it a third time (if need be). It should hopefully be done by Sunday!
- The Square Kirby rug is being done second, and I've glued up the backing. The first level should also be done tonight (or tomorrow if I don't get to it in time).
- The Diecut Kirby rug is last, and it still needs to be prepped for gluing. I like to do the patented ©®™ Waterfall Edges ™®© (the process where I fold the excess tufting fabric over the back of the rug and hot glue it together, thus making the very edge yarn fibers spill over like a waterfall) during the wee hours of the night (12-3am) while watching Youtube or Twitch streams.
