2025-11-28 16:31:49 +0000 UTCAlthough I really enjoyed The Young Ones, I got the distinct impression that, for this episode the writers had two incomplete storylines they couldn't think of an ending for and so just smushed them both together but still couldn't think of an ending and settled for a Spike Milligan type "non ending". Still very watchable and funny though.

You might remember her as Emily's step-mum in Friends 😉https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IgUqWYzmSzw, and she's also the Fairy Godmother in Shrek 2! Jennifer is married to Ade! Been together for a long time now, think their wedding was the year after this episode went out. They would have been dating/engaged at the time, so if anyone's allowed to inspect her tits it's him 🤣 1 of their daughters has become a comedy actor herself, Beattie Edmondson

2025-11-26 19:45:53 +0000 UTCThis is such a funny episode, chaotic as per usual, with a load of cameos, French & Saunder;s, Hale & Pace and (I had to look up, after seeing his name in the credits)) Robbie Coltraine as the one eye pirate captain, Jenifer Saunders (Helen) married Ade in 1985 so have been married 40 years now. This was a great reaction that had me belly laughing.
