A bit of a sad fact about the behind-the-scenes of this episode. The cast and crew attended Lennard Pierce’s funeral (grandads actor). Two days later, they filmed this episode. To me, it has a come-full-circle feeling about it. They said goodbye to the actor, and now they’re saying goodbye to the character.
