Great film! One of my favourite ‘Christmas’ movies (along with Home Alone!). Yeah it’s weird that in the 70’s full frontal nudity was acceptable in films, but simply saying certain words referring to body parts was totally frowned upon! I’m thinking of George Carlin’s 7 words you can’t say on TV.

2024-12-30 17:38:19 +0000 UTCClose friend of Michael Palin & Eric Idle, and former Beatle: George Harrison, funded the movie himself just because he wanted to see it “The Worlds Most Expensive Movie Ticket” Class act :) Makes a cameo appearance too, blink and you'll miss it! He also appeared as a news reporter in 'The Rutles: All You Need is Cash' which you should definitely watch. I guess you could call it an unofficial Python film
