I think my favorite description of love was when Hayao Miyazaki said something like (in regards to disliking how male & female characters are always expected to fall in romantic love in movies) “love is two people who inspire each other to keep living” 🥹

Been very comphet for a long time with pretty bad situationship experiences with cis men and have just recently decided to stop seeing cis men and am now exploring more. Realized my ideal romantic connections are non-monogamous and focused on community building outside of family.
