There are 10 years between me and my little sister - I’m a millennial and she’s gen z- and how myself and my older siblings were raised by our black single mother in comparison to how my little sister was raised (all of us older ones had left home) is SO different. I’m happy she hasn’t experienced the trauma we did but I’m also sad for us older ones. But hey - it’s all about breaking the cycle… right?! 😅
