Oh my gosh I feel called out with the watermelon story. I was one of very few Black people at a liberal arts college and I felt like I couldn't enjoy the fruit cause all the looks. Internalized racism is awful. Loved the video. Loved the contributions from Black men included for too. Great thoughtful and considerate content.
I'm fascinated with Lil Nas X rise and truly appreciate their truth and ability to be their fullest selves. Thank you for this video, I can appreciate that my queer lil brother can have a bit easier time navigating the world with more prominent queer spectrum representations in media than when I was their age (we had t.AT.u. if anyone remembers how that turned out) especially from POCs.
