Hi Khadija - I'm new here and I know I don't know you, but this was incredibly relatable. I'm also a content creator, and deeply resonate with the feelings of not growing how you want to, not seeing the results you want, the pressure to perform, the feeling that you're not doing enough, the feeling that people are draining on you and also that they don't care, the desire for management so you can just focus on the content - I hear you. You're not alone. Being so capable, being so historically capable, that is also a heavy cross to bare a lot of the time. Because of COURSE you WANT support and love, but you also feel for those who you ask for help from, don't want to be a burden, you want to hold yourself and be supportive of others. I know you've heard this a million times likely, but you're worthy of support. You're worthy of help. Asking is ok. Your wanting to support others, giving others a chance, holding others where they need it because you didn't get that - it's so beautiful that you're turning that around instead of letting it make you bitter. This shows the depths of your character. I know you are seeing how selfish humanity can be, but your being how you are, you make others safe, and they are going to turn around and be that support for others too. What you are putting out will get paid forward. It's not your job to create this new world, but you ARE doing it. You being this way, you're making it likely that more people will pass this on. You clearly have such a huge heart, and see systems. Which is a lot. You're valid in what you feel. Thank you for this honesty. There are so many things that are messed up about content creation, what's popular vs. what's helpful, what serves people vs. what creates more division. You're making a difference. You matter. I honestly don’t really care whether I get behind the scenes or Patreon only content, personally- I’ll keep supporting you cause I think you’re doing good shit and you make me think and work to undo my own stuff. I obviously can’t speak for anyone but me, but I’ll happily keep supporting you even if you never put anything on Patron. Aunties gotta stick together!
