August 2021 Update - Audiobook, Previous Story Retcon, Personal

First of all, there's not going to be an Audiobook poll for this month as Mistaken Identity was a two parter, so instead it'll be an extra long one!
Second up, I've retconned the previous story to take it out of the Izzy and Jon narrative I was writing. There were discussions during the concept of the story that it was moving away from what that narrative was bringing to RegressCo and, in hindsight, it took far too dramatic a tonal shift. I loved writing it and it's not going anywhere, but it's a standalone piece now and Jon and Izzy's story will continue next month instead, probably with reference to what's happening around them, but not *to* them this time.
In terms of my mental health, the last two weeks have been incredibly productive by recent standards. My mother is feeling well, her cancer is in its early stages and is treatable. Seeing her two weekends ago gave me an enormous boost. Hugs are a fantastic treatment for writers block it turns out!
