The New House (Part 1)

Hope you all like! Sorry if it's had to read in the cap it ended up being way longer than I expected.

“We’ll take it!” Cameron shook hands with the realtor firmly. He and a few buddies landed a few corporate jobs down in Texas. They started in a couple of weeks, and it was good to finally lock down a real world job, and it was all starting to feel real for Cameron once he signed the papers for the house.

However, the realtor thought Cameron was moving his family here from California, after all it is a family only neighborhood. The town was called Grassy Springs. It was a small town, there was only one grocery store and high school, but Grassy Springs had character.

The guys had been looking for a cheap place to live, and houses in the developing Grassy Springs were going on the low end. Cameron saw the ad a few weeks back, and the rent price was too good to pass up. The boys just figured they could have Cameron sign the lease, and then just hang low in the neighborhood. It was a perfect plan and would save the guys hundreds of dollars a month, and they could live in a nice suburban home. There was literally no down side to the plan, it’s not like the home developers were going to monitor who lived in the house.

The house was very nice too, it had a huge living room and kitchen. The only downside to the place was a weird humming noise Cameron noticed. The realtor didn’t seem to hear it, but Cameron heard it, even though it didn’t bother him as much as it should have. He made a mental note to find it and take care of it after he moved everything in.

Cameron got the keys to the home and went ahead and spent the next couple of days moving in. The first few nights were kind of eerie alone. The house was empty and all Cameron could hear was the buzzing noise. Which wasn’t a bad thing, he quickly got used to it and even liked it. He put off unloading his furniture as long as possible, but it was finally the last thing he had to do.  He went to grab his favorite recliner, but it wouldn’t budge. He tried and tried, but after 3 minutes he was exhausted. He wiped his forehead and sighed, it made no sense, he moved it with ease a week ago, why wouldn’t it move now?

He knocked on the door of a neighbors to get help. He was greeted by a friendly looking middle aged man. After explaining the situation the neighbor was more than happy to help, although he insisted on doing it himself and Cameron just hold the door open for him. Cameron was reluctant at first, did this guy think he was weak? But when he tried to help, he only made things worse. Cameron smiled and thanked the nice guy as he set down the chair, Cameron sat down and crossed his legs, “I don’t feel normal.” He thought to himself/

Aaron and Justin wouldn’t be arriving for a week so he had the house to himself. He was excited for the guys to get there though. They were arriving from LA, where the 24 year olds were originally from: The 3 met in hair school and hand,t really been separated since. In high school Cameron was known as the jock; he played lineman on the football team since he was so strong. Aaron was kind of a lesser known nerd, but Cameron knew him and become friends when Aaron tutored him in math. Justin was the cool kid that everyone knew and loved. Together the 3 made an unlikely group of friends.

When, they all went to the same college, USC where they got into the antics most college kids do. Cameron got bigger, and got a lot of girls. Justin partied a lot, and got a lot of girls, and Aaron studied. Aaron graduated a year before Justin and Cameron but was working at a dead end job. He was relieved to find out that Justin’s dad could get them all entry level jobs at a branch of his new law firm down in Texas. Cameron was excited to be working along his 2 best friends, they had their disagreements, but hanging out with them and making money will be the best.

1 week later, Cameron drove to the airport to pick up his buddies. He spent the last week tidying up the place for the guys to arrive. He was excited to see them the last week in the house alone had been weird. He pulled up to the airport curb in his parking lot and waited as the guys loaded up their luggage in the truck. “What’s up bro?” he said to Justin as he climbed into the car, giving him a fist bump. “Just chillin dude, hyped to get this job started,” Justin said back. Aaron climbed in the back and gave Cameron a fist bump. “Wow dude you don’t look as big as a week ago, are you slacking?” Cameron just responded with a dirty look. Aaron and Justin both laughed, then Cameron beamed, “Fuck you Aaron you haven’t lifted a day in your life pussy.” It was true, Aaron hadn’t, but it Cameron got so pissed when they insulted him.

The boys arrived back at the house. Aaron walked through the house to put his luggage in his bedroom. “Umm can you take off your shoes please Aaron?” beamed Cameron. Justin and Aaron just shot a puzzled gaze at Cameron. He usually wasn’t a tidy person, so this outburst was really weird to the guys, but they thought nothing of it. “Thank you” he said in a flight attendant voice as he walked into his room and shut the door. The guys were stunned. They noticed how clean the house had been kept in the week Cameron lived alone. Aaron was his roommate Freshman year of college and Cameron rarely kept his room clean, so he was especially surprised. The guys dropped their stuff in their room and ordered a pizza. They plopped down on the couch and kicked up to watch some football. “Cameron you want a beer buddy?” Aaron yelled at him, who still hadn’t come out of his room. He openned the door and shot the guys a dirty look, “If you get your guy’s feet off the table.” He said sitting down. Aaron rolled his eyes but changed the subject, “Do you guys hear a buzzing noise when the TV isn’t on?” Justin’s eye’s lit up, “So I’m not crazy!? It’s really annoying dude.” Cameron looked at them with a puzzled gaze, “What buzzing noise?” He asked like they were crazy.

Another week passed and the guys were ready for their first day on the job. Aaron woke up like he always did, immediately took a shower and went to his closet where he proceeded to spend 20 minutes figuring out what to wear for work. It usually took him 2 minutes to get dressed, but he was really nervous about today, and couldn’t make a decision. When he finally decided on his gray suit, he couldn’t help but think how boring he looked. Deciding to deal with it for the day, he proceeded downstairs where Cameron was cooking the guys breakfast. All throughout college Cameron had never cooked a thing in his life, but Aaron and Justin were noticing how much he had changed in the couple of months since they graduated. As the boys ate breakfast they talked about fantasy football, and got into a heated argument that lasted all the way until the boys got to work about who was going to win the Super Bowl that year.

The guys first day went as planned, as they were heading off to the parking lot, “Cameron handed Justin the keys to his truck and said, “Could you drive for me?” in a girlish voice. Justin responded, “Of course” holding his hand out. Cameron dropped the keys into his hand and rubbed his arm romantically. Aaron was weirded out, but he was too busy trying to comprehend his first day at the firm. It felt like he forgot about everything about what it took to be a lawyer. He was in a panic, why couldn’t he remember anything?

The guys job at the firm started as planned the guys got experience as promised and quickly fell into the routine of working 5 days a week for the firm. By the end of the 4th week, Aaron and Cameron had slowly degraded to known worst lawyers in the firm, while Justin quickly ascended to the top of the firm. Justin was actually named a top associate of the firm after only 4 weeks, whereas Cameron was asked to take calls at the secretary’s desk and Aaron just sat in his office on his phone all day.

By the end of week 5, Aaron and Cameron both got fired. Aaron couldn’t believe it, and immediately applied for college again. Cameron didn’t really mind, he started to hate the job and had money saved up, plus he hadn’t had time to tidy up the house or go to the gym with all the work. Since he started, he quickly lost all of his muscle, and even some of his height, which was weird to him, but he didn’t think anything of it. His hair was also growing like a weed, Aaron could also say the same thing, however the boys continued on their lives like everything was normal. In fact, both guys seemed to be happier after getting fired from the law firm, it sure was a stressful job.

Aaron was usually a pretty introverted guy, but since he’d gone back to school, he had actually been hitting it off with the fellow students there. He was talking to more girls than he ever had in his life, mostly taking advice on fashion. And even a few guys were hitting him up. It was a change for Aaron, but he enjoyed making all these new friends.

Justin heard his alarm blaring. He yawned and wobbled to the bathroom. He turned on the light to notice a couple of new wrinkles on his face he hadn’t noticed before. The stress with being a senior associate at the law firm had gotten to him apparently. Not too concerned, he turned on the shower and washed up. He wobbled downstairs to see Cameron’s blonde head sizzling some bacon and eggs. “Good morning,” Justin smiled at Cameron. “Morning hun” he said back in a soft voice. “Ready for some bacon?” Justin nodded as Cameron started to prepare a plate for him. Cameron now had visible breasts, and noticeability wider hips. He didn’t seem to mind so Justin picked up the newspaper as Cameron placed the plate in front of him. “I have to get up Aaron, that boy never gets up on his own in time for school.” Cameron sighed.
