Really hope you guys like! Thank you to Kitty St. Claire for the story idea! I focused on the aftermath more than the transformation on this one, and I really liked how it turned out! I think next weeks cap will for sure be Age Progression since I haven't done one of those in a while. Also expect a regular cap that I post on DA soon as well!
“That’s all for today class thank you.” Arthur Valentine, the head math professor at Highlands University shut his laptop as the class started streaming out of the lecture hall. “David can I see you for a sec.” he pulled aside one of his worst student’s, a frat kid who he barely ever saw in class. “David you realize you have to pass this class if you want a degree right.” He stared at David, who didn’t look like he had much going on in his head, Arthur rolled his eyes. “Yeah Professor uh I’ve just been really caught up in frat life ya know?” Arthur tried not to explode on the meathead, “No David I don’t know, I actually went to college to do what it was meant for.” Arthur wasn’t lying, he finished his doctorate in math in only 5 years, which many thought was impossible. At age 31 he was already the head of the math department. He didn’t rise through the ranks without getting the reputation for being one of the hardest professors at Highlands University. Arthur didn’t think he was that tough, he just had a low tolerance for stupidity. He didn’t mind if students were stupid and willing to learn, but when they were brain dead like this David guy, it really struck a nerve. “Not that I do anyways but I don’t wanna see you in this class anymore. Goodbye.” He said dismissing David, who stood there confused. “Why not?” He asked not getting the point.
Right before Arthur was about to explode on the oblivious frat kid the door burst open. “Professor Valentine! I need to ask you a favor!” It was Elizabeth Jones, a grad school film student, Arthur taught one of her intro math classes back when she was an undergrad student. Arthur perked up a bit, he liked Elizabeth, he respected her work and the two had become pretty good friends. Elizabeth would always ask Arthur with help with school and Elizabeth would teach Arthur how to be more like able. “Something came up with my planned guest and I was wondering if you could guest lecture my class today?” Arthur sighed, he was looking forward to going home and seeing his wife, but he owed Elizabeth for something… so he agreed. Elizabeth had to teach a film class to complete her Masters and decided she would teach one about her favorite thing in the world, Rom-Coms. Arthur knew nothing about Rom Coms, he couldn’t remember ever seeing one, but Elizabeth said she wanted him to talk about how Math is still important in the film industry, which Arthur thought about for a second, and agreed.
Arthur arrived in the dark lecture hall 20 minutes before Elizabeth told him to, he secretly wanted to observe the class and see what it was like. When he found they were just watching a stupid chick flick, Arthur quickly regretted the decision. The movie was about 3 girls who go to Europe and all meet the loves of their lives, only to be greeted with reality that they have to leave. Elizabeth was using the film to teach about stereotypes. Arthur rolled his eyes at how fake and girly the main characters were in the film, everything about it was so cheesy. But he was interested by one thing, the beautiful actress who played one of the main characters. She was definitely a smoke show, but there was something more to that about her, soon Arthur found himself enraptured in the storyline. Arthur wanted to take his eyes off the film, but for some reason he couldn’t. He was entranced, with everything about the film, but especially with the main character Tiffany, who was the girly sorority girl in the film. She was just so… perfect. Elizabeth looked over at Arthur who looked to be entranced and laughed to herself, she didn’t realize he had such a heart for chick flicks. As the movie ended and the girls of the film all ended up with the boys that eluded them the entire film, Arthur shed a tear as Tiffany met lips with her college sweetheart. He had never seen something so beautiful… he wanted that beautiful… he wanted to be that beautiful. Arthur grew uncomfortable in his chair, there was something about the film making him uneasy. The way Tiffany conducted herself entranced Arthur, through his years of teaching he had seen thousands of sorority girls… but there was something about Tiffany that struck him, almost to the core. The tears continued down Arthur’s face as the movie ended, the class sighed as they got out their notes, Elizabeth had informed them Professor Valentine was giving a guest lecture on the relationship between math and the big screen.
But before anybody had a chance to even open their laptop, Arthur hurried out the door. Elizabeth scrambled after him, “Arthur?!” She yelled at him, he was walking differently. He turned and put his hand on his hip. “I quit Elizabeth I quit!” Elizabeth was really confused,”Why!?” She called out from across the hallway. Arthur was silent for a second, then muttered, “I know who I am now.” Before he turned the corner. Elizabeth stood shocked, she couldn’t believe the day she was having.
