Britt is a 30-something film professor and his friend Elizabeth asks him to guest lecture for a class on rom coms. Britt does show and begins watching the rom com for the day, which is super silly and ultra girly. As Britt watches more and more he comes to identify with the main character. When Elizabeth next sees Britt, she is now Britni, and has gotten several surgeries to turn her from a pudgy film professor into an 18-year-old college sorority girl. Britni is taking the rom coms class, because she wants her life to be just like a rom com. She doesn't want to get a PhD anymore, or even a bachelors. She's at college to get her MRS degree.
