“Girl I just don’t know!” Brooklyn was trying on bridesmaid dresses for
her bff Katie’s wedding. The two girls met in a yoga class a couple of days after Brooklyn had gotten out of the hospital. “Well let me see it!” Katie yelled from the other side of the changing room. The door opened, standing in the ching room posing in a small pink dress was cute girl in her mid 20’s. She had brunette hair blonde highlights, she had a cute natural tan and a beautiful smile. She posed for her bff, “I just like don’t I have the chest for it ya know?” She said looking in the mirror. Katie came up to her and gave her a big hug, “It’s perfect girl, I love it, Brandon will love it and you should love it too!” A big smile came across Brooklyn’s face as she gave her bff a big hug, “Ugh, Dave better be worth it, because he’s totally stealing you from me!” Brooklyn said wiping tears from her face, she didn’t want to have to redo her makeup. Katie squeezed tigher, “It doesn’t matter because Brandon will just end up stealing you anyways!” Katie laughed. Brooklyn sighed, “Ugh don’t get me started, I wish that guy would man up and pop the question already.” She said flipping her hair, visibly upset
It was the day of the wedding, Brooklyn was currently on hour 3 of getting herself ready, and afterwards she was going to help Katie. She looked in the mirror at the tight pink bridesmaid’s dress that hugged her body, she couldn’t believe at this time last year she was still a firefighter. Ugh that seemed so lame. Since she stayed back, the radiation had the least amount of effect on her compared to her squadmates, so her age stayed the same and she remembered more of herself as a man. As she left the changing room Brandon was outside waiting for her. He gasped at the sight of his beautiful girlfriend. “Dang girl” he said giving her a peck on the cheek. She blushed, and slapped him playfully, “Don’t start here babe I have to go help Katie!” Brandon reluctantly agreed and sighed as he watched her ass bounce on the way to Katie’s room.
The reception was perfect, Brooklyn was an emotional mess, she tried not to tear up at the sight of her bff getting married but it was just so beautiful. As she stood in the wedding she looked at Brandon, he was the sweetest guy, and she wanted nothing for him to pop the question. Sure enough, during the closing festivities, Brooklyn’s favorite song came on. She turned around to see Brandon on his knees with a huge diamond ring in his hands. Brooklyn, I’ve been in love with you ever since I first laid eyes on you, will you marry me?” Brooklyn thought she was an emotional wreck before, She screamed, “YES!!” and giddily jumped into her boyfriends arms and gave him a huge kiss. As their lips met they both thought the same thought, “Thank god for that fire.”
