A Different Kind Of Fire (Part 3)

Brandon frantically ran through the hospital, he couldn’t believe what happened, was it going to happen to him? He had to find Josh, Allen, and Bryce. He was sure they had to be here. He had to admit he felt a little foggy but not nearly as bad what happened to Tim. He frantically told the nurse behind the desk the name of his coworkers, “Sorry no visitors, people exposed to the smoke must be quarantined for at least a month.” The nurse said without looking at him. “What are they being treated for? I was exposed to it too.” Brandon was very concerned now. “A certain mix of chemicals we have never seen before. A chemist at the perfume company was experimenting and something went horribly wrong.” The nurse looked out the window at the pink smoke still billowing out of the large building. “It’s one of the strongest chemical compounds we have ever seen, and it only takes more and more of a toll on the body over time.” Brandon who knew he was exposed became immediately concerned… “What can I do then?” He asked. “Just wait and see what happens.” The nurse muttered.

Alan screamed in agony as he was wheeled through the emergency room. He had never felt such intense pain in his entire life, it felt like his entire body was yelling at him. “We need to get him to surgery now!” A doctor yelled frantically. Alan’s head raced, he had never felt this sensation before, he could literally fell his thoughts and memories flood out of his head and start taking shapes as new ones. He grew dizzy, and finally passed out.

The fire continued to rage on in the coming weeks, with reports on what happened to the first responders, more precautions were taken with putting it out. The whole town was evacuated for the fear of the effects of the radioactive smoke. Brandon tried to carry on his life, but the guilt was eating him up inside, he had to find Bryce, Josh, or Alan. He knew they were alive, he was just afraid of their fate.

It had been a year since the accident, the fire took 2 months to put out, and irreverable damage was done to the surroundings.  The entire town had been evacuated, as the air was now filled with the radiation from the explosion. What was now a thriving town of 100k people was a ghost town. Thousands of people gathered in the town to the south to remember the 4 firefighters who lost their lives fighting the fire. The crowd listened in agony as Bryce’s widow recounted the horrific events that happened to her and her family that day. She recounted how the radiation had took a devastating effect on her husband, and she had no choice but to let him go. The candlelight vigil ended without a dry eye in the crowd.

50 miles away, Alana and Jasmine were getting ready for a house party a cute boy from school was throwing. Formally Alan and Josh, the prolonged exposure to the toxic radiation had taken a massive toll on their bodies and minds, the 2 fit middle aged men had slowly been molded into ditzy giggling teenage girls. The government knew the public would obviously find it more disturbing than dying, so they lied about their deaths and relocated the new girls in a new city with a pair of loving foster parents. Both girls had recollection of their old lives but had no desire to go back to being gross and sweaty men. They couldn’t wait to be out of high school so they could party with college guys. Alana was petite as it gets, the radiation made her look incredible. The once hulking man was about the size of a 12 year old boy, she was barely even 5 feet tall anymore, and couldn’t weigh more than 100 pounds. Her silky blonde hair fell perfectly passed her small but firm chest. She had a pastel pink latex dress hardly covered her ass. Her golden spray tanned skin was plastered in foundation and blush. Jasmine had sprawling brunette hair. She wore a two piece hot pink mini skirt and crop top, she thought the latex dress was a little desperate, but she understood, Alana had to impress Brad tonight. “Daddy can you give us a ride to the party?” She yelled down at her foster father, who was watching basketball. “Of course princess.” He moaned, that was the was response he usually gave whenever Alana asked for something. She had quickly become a spoiled rich girl, and she loved it. As the girls were heading out the door she stopped in the mirror one more time and did a sexy pose, “Ugh I wish I would’ve stayed in that smoke longer.” She said looking at her regular sized chest. Jasmine just giggled at Alana and shook her head.
