The Substitute Teacher

Mrs. Baker,         

Hope you had a great start to your vacation! Everything is tippity top here! High school English is easy! We went over the lesson you laid out. Most of the class got their homework done. And by most I mean everyone but Kyle Johnson. He looked so harmless at first! Almost like a quiet nerdy kid. I thought you were being a little dramatic when you warned me about him, but you are right, one of the worst kids I have ever taught. Everything started off okay, but Kyle wouldn’t stop distracting other students during reading time and eventually he, and Brock Manning got into a fist fight. I had to send them both to the office, but hey I guess just another teaching Kyle Johnson like you warned. Keep enjoying vacation and please don’t worry about anything here!

Mrs Baker,

I must say this is getting to be a bit much. Kyle Johnson is relentless, I’ve asked the school to suspend him but they won’t do anything. That smelly fat punk shouldn’t be qualified as a student. Today he came into class 10 minutes reeking of weed and eating Cheeto’s. He handed in his book report, all it said was “Fuck You” 2000 times. Not only that, but he threw pencils at me throughout class. This boy might be a lost cause, he is more of a disruption than a student. I’m going to take matters into my own hands. That greasy haired troublemaker will get what’s coming to him.

I regret to inform you I will not be subbing for your class during your last week of vacation. After what I just went through I need a much needed mental health break. I’ve already lined up a replacement and I hope you’ll find things… quieter when you come back. Enjoy the rest of vacation!

Hey Mrs Baker!

This is Kendra Johnson, your new sub. Hope vacation is a blast! I remember the last time I went to Mexico (Well kinda I was wasted the whole time). Hope you are partying it up girl. Your class is so precious! We didn't do any of the lesson plan though, we kinda got sidetracked and I gave them a lesson to the guys on when to kiss on a first date. I know it’s far more important than whatever book you had them read! Mrs. Baker I must say I don’t know how you can control yourself with that Brock Manning in your class. I know I couldn’t. My god what a stud. Between you and me Mrs. Baker he is a wonderful kisser. But anyways, I gotta end this email, I have a date tonight! The guy isn’t very cute but he’d a bank so. Not to mention I have a perfect leopard print blouse picked out, have fun on the rest of vacay!
